The Buy Goods event in New York was held at Magic Hour Rooftop, a retro-inspired venue with an open view of the Empire State Building, and we filled the evening with music and cocktails.

Walls and columns of pink and red roses lined the covered rooftop terrace, and one rose column stood at the rail with the Empire State Building rising behind it. Bar bites came in red and white striped popcorn boxes and on a tray of soft pretzels. The souvenir bags were black drawstring bags printed with the buygoods logo.

A purple-lit terrace after dark

After dark the terrace glowed purple, and a man in black showed tricks with string and cards to guests up close. Inside the lounge, a bronze elephant balanced a striped ball in front of rust velvet curtains, and trays of chocolate chip cookies and brownies sat beside another striped popcorn box. We also planned BuyGoods Thailand, where the name burned in fire letters on the beach.
