Corporate events

No more banquet chairs in stuffy hotel ballrooms.

Seminars, retreats, networking events and executive dinners, planned around the people in the room and not only the agenda.

The problem

A bigger budget doesn’t make a better event.

Some companies spend a million dollars on AV alone, then put everyone in a hotel room at round tables, on banquet chairs with linen on them. The money went into the screens. Nobody designed the room.

Guests remember how an event felt, and whether they met the people they came to meet. That is where we start.

What stands out

The details guests talk about.

From real events we planned for Gorgias, Triple Whale, HelpGrid and MaxWeb.

01

The way in

The first thing guests see sets the tone. At The Whalies 2026 it was an illuminated tunnel. In New York, an under-the-sea entryway. In Los Angeles, a striped arch.

Sponsor spaces, not banners

Gorgias asked us for sponsor booths at DTCx. Instead of the usual step-and-repeat and a couple of cocktail tables, we built each one around that company’s message.

The brand on everything

At DTCx, the logo went on the lattes and the coconuts. At Ecomchella it went on the cups, and at Triple Whale’s Los Angeles tour stop, on the cupcakes.

The add-on for connection

Connection Concierge.

Before the event, every attendee fills in a questionnaire. We pair them with the speakers and the people they came to meet, and a specialist makes the introductions on the day: one for every 50 guests.

Questions

Before you book.

How early should I book?

Anywhere from 6 to 12 months out is ideal. Dates fill fast, and our schedule is often booked a year in advance.

Do I need a planner?

A planner takes it from vendors and bookings to budgeting, ordering and design, so you can enjoy the day rather than worry about a million little things.

How are you different from other planners?

We create an experience, not just another event. Think comfy lounge chairs and couches versus boring banquet chairs. And the person you work with matters: we meet before booking, so you know you enjoy working together.

Do you travel?

Absolutely. Cyprus, Barcelona, Thailand, London, Miami and more. Travel outside Los Angeles is quoted on top.

Free, no-obligation consultation

Tell us about the event.

A rough date and a headcount are enough to start. After the call, a contract and a retainer secure your date.
