The banners called it the GeekOut Miami Acquisition Tour, a Miami corporate event with Nick Shackelford and James Van Elswyk.

White walls and black curtains behind the speakers

We designed a minimalist setup: crisp white walls, bright daylight-style lighting and a simple speaking area against black curtains, with a GeekOut screen behind the speakers and a banner on each side. Guests listened from teal armchairs and white sofas, many with laptops open. Under a patterned tile wall, a pastry spread labeled chocolate croissants and coffee cake sat beside platters of berries.

Geek out Miami screens above the bar

Two screens reading geek out Miami hung above the bar, between shelves of bottles. In the lounge, full rows of teal armchairs faced the speakers.
