To send Karrington off with the Class of 2024, we planned a grad party with a Mexican fiesta theme. Mariachi music played, tacos were served, and colorful papel picado hung from the ceiling.
Papel picado over the lounge and a Class of 2024 bar
Under the papel picado, teal velvet ottomans and white sofas faced a white marble bar hung with a blue glitter Class of 2024 banner. There were also mustard velvet armchairs and wooden high-top tables. On a striped serape runner, fiesta photo props were ready to pick up, from Holy Guacamole to Hot & Spicy.
Advice cards, disposable cameras and signature drinks
A framed sign asked for Advice and Wishes for the new graduate, Karrington, over a spread of Advice for the Graduate cards. Another sign set out disposable cameras and told guests to take a few snaps, then pass it on.
The round wooden Signature Drinks menu listed three Casamigos Blanco Tequila drinks written for the party: Top of the Class, The Spicy Scholar and Karringtons Fit Fiesta Rita. Next to it, a wooden crate held bright straws topped with cactus figures in sombreros.
