In Bucharest, we planned an intimate dinner for the MaxWeb Affiliate Network, and it was all about the little design touches that make an evening feel special.

Hugs and Hellos by the Water

The evening started with hugs and big smiles. Guests caught up among the potted plants before anyone sat down, and it had the feel of old friends catching up.

Waiting for them on the covered deck were long wooden tables right at the water's edge. Sage green runners, blue plates and fresh flowers glowed in the golden light as the sun dropped low over the water.

It was the kind of view that makes you want to stay at the table a little longer.

A Seat With Your Name On It

Every guest found their name waiting on a custom menu card, tucked under a pale green wax seal. It was a small touch that made each guest feel welcome the moment they sat down.

Clear glass vases of white hydrangeas, blush roses and eucalyptus ran down the tables, adding a touch of natural beauty to every setting.

Dinner went from Romanian eggplant salad to duck breast tandoori with pomegranate sauce, a mix of local flavors and global favorites, with homemade cakes to finish.

The whole night felt cozy and refined, the kind of setting where conversation comes easily.
