The Rock N’ Roll Drive-In Diner was a 1950s drive-in themed party. We designed a large diner setup, classic car fronts for the seating and a small gas station, and Coke products flowed from start to finish.

A black carpet with yellow road lines ran along the terrace to a doorway signed DINER, with a red car cutout and a red Texaco pump beside it for the gas station touch. The teal diner front advertised Root Beer Floats and Thick Malts under Rock N Roll marquee lettering, and vinyl records hung from the ceiling.

Classic car fronts facing the screen

Blue classic car fronts stood ahead of the rows of chairs, all facing a large screen, and each car carried a plate reading Love the Journey. At the drinks counter, glass Coca-Cola bottles sat beside Coke straw tins and a Have a Coke napkin holder, and cans were poured into Coca-Cola paper cups.

The same era shaped two more parties we planned: Grease Lightening, with its own gas station corner, and the Retro 1950’s Diner, where a popcorn machine sat on the candy bar.
