We planned The Magic Mansion, a magic-themed networking party featuring Mina Elias, and the signs spelled out the theme: an art deco board reading "Welcome to City Lights & Magic Nights" and neon script on an iron gate saying "This is where the magic happens."

Potion of Luck jars and a fogging teapot

A glass teapot trailing fog sat beside the cocktails and a framed "pick your poison" menu. Small corked jars wrapped in twine were tagged "Potion of Luck, may induce extreme wealth," and black candy apples flecked with gold stood on a white cake stand.

Tarot readings and custom champagne labels

Readers laid out tarot cards for guests on black tables, and a white palmistry hand sat among red votive candles. Guests posed for photos on a gold throne set in a carved stone doorway. The champagne carried custom labels printed with Carbon6, Wayflyer, Viscap Media and unybrands above the line "Pop. Clink. Cheers." For Brands in Wonderland, also with Mina Elias, giant chess pieces stood in a courtyard of palm trees.
