We planned Brands in Wonderland with Mina Elias as a networking event dressed up as an Alice in Wonderland party, and a Mad Hatter greeted guests as they arrived.

Grazing crates and a game of giant pong

Stacked wooden arrows pointed That Way, Somewhere, Wonderland, Over There and to the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. The Mad Hatter, Alice and the Queen of Hearts moved through the rooms in full costume. A grazing table of cheese, grapes and crackers was set on stacked wooden crates with candles and illustrated cutouts of Alice, and guests could play a giant game of pong with red bins.

Guests came in gowns and tuxedos, one in white rabbit ears, and posed with the characters under a crystal chandelier. A framed sign on a hedge-covered cocktail table asked "Have I gone mad?" The desserts ran to macarons, meringues and a cookie lettered in gold with "Brands in Wonderland!"

A Mad Hatter cutout by the dessert table

A life-size Mad Hatter cutout stood behind the dessert table, and cookies iced as a clock face and antique keys sat on a plate of brownies. Outside, oversized white chess pieces stood in a courtyard of palm trees and string lights. Mina Elias was also part of The Magic Mansion, a magic-themed networking party with tarot readings.
